‘indicAIte’: An integrated machine learning framework for condition monitoring of conveyor systems
Logistics and Intralogistics SystemsModern logistics is characterized by its global, highly flexible, and complex value networks, which form the heart of today’s industry [1, 2]. The interdependent nature of these networks makes the systems vulnerable to disruptions, thus requiring resilience. Within these value chains, intralogistics constitutes a critical and non-replaceable element, acting as a core component [3]. However, it can simultaneously represent a potential bottleneck [4], as the increasing interconnectedness raises the likelihood of unplanned failures and breakdowns [5]. The performance of intralogistics systems in terms of availability and reliability is heavily dependent on effective maintenance, necessitating not only the correct selection of the optimal maintenance strategy, but also requiring the adoption of modern maintenance concepts [6].
