A Novel Multicriteria Decision-Making Approach for Evaluating Auditing Systems in the Logistics Industry

Logistics and Intralogistics Systems

The main objective of this investigation is to develop an innovative hybrid decision-making framework to evaluate the suitability of Industry 4.0-based inspection systems for the logistics industry. The model's main contribution is its ability to produce rational solutions suitable for real-world conditions. The method's innovative decision-making mechanism helps to overcome many structural problems and limitations of traditional decision-making tools. In this context, the model combines the newly developed MSTF (Multi-Stage Transparency-Focused Objective Weighting Method) with the CN-DURMUS (Cumulative Multi-Dimensional Utility Ranking Method) ranking technique. The results revealed that A2 – AI-Based Intelligent Audit Systems would be the most suitable choice for the logistics industry. At the same time, C7 Audit Data Processing Speed was determined as the most dominant criterion.
